Collaborative Opportunities to Support Rural Mental Health in New York State
Speakers: Amanda Horner & Joshua Grove
To better understand the state of mental health and wellbeing in rural NYS, NYSARH has completed a Statewide Aggregate Rural Health Needs Assessment (SARHNA). synthesizing rural data across regional Community Health Needs Assessments, Community Health Improvement Plans, and County Office of Mental Health Local Services Plans. In this session, we will present the SARHNA results, introduce the Rural Health Impact Collaborative as an opportunity for rural organizations to convene in response to the SARHNA findings, and facilitate an audience discussion on ways to prioritize and operationalize the SARHNA results.
