The webinar, part of our expert series, will feature Israel Cross, PhD, MA, CAPS, ECHM, CDP, a public health gerontologist and aging and caregiving strategist with the Health Resources & Services Administration.

LCDR Israel Cross is a compassionate gerontologist and United States Public Health Service Commissioned Corps officer with over fifteen years of experience in public health and aging. Known for his heartfelt dedication to improving the lives of older adults, Cross combines his expertise across healthcare, health information technology, disease prevention, and community engagement to create lasting, positive change for vulnerable populations. His work emphasizes health equity, particularly in access to quality healthcare and caregiving, ensuring that older adults receive the support they need to thrive.

As the President of the National Aging in Place Council, LCDR Cross leads with warmth and vision, uniting professionals and communities to advocate for the dignity and independence of aging individuals. His unwavering passion for caregiving and health equity continues to drive meaningful progress in addressing the unique challenges facing older populations, particularly through the promotion of preventive measures such as vaccinations to protect against illness and enhance the well-being of those he serves.
